YOUR INFORMATION, EXPLAINED
Privacy policy.
Learning starts with curiosity. Trust starts with clarity.
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains the information Skillvira handles, how it supports your experience, and the controls available to you.
Information we handle
When you use the Skillvira app, we handle account information such as your email, username, password hash, and verification status. Depending on what you provide, your profile may include your name, photo, biography, date of birth, country, state, city, language, time zone, and education or professional interests. We also store selected learning goals, interests, learning progress, and activity such as viewed, liked, or saved content. Support messages include the information you choose to send. Service infrastructure may process technical request information, including IP addresses and diagnostic logs.
How information is used
We use this information to create and secure your account, provide lessons and practice features, save progress, tailor your feed, apply age-appropriate content filters, manage your preferences, respond to support requests, and investigate errors or misuse. Your date of birth is used for age-related features and is not displayed publicly.
Sharing and service providers
Information is processed by the infrastructure and service providers needed to operate Skillvira, including Google Cloud hosting. When you use online code execution, your submitted code and input are processed by the execution service; avoid entering passwords or other sensitive information into code. Profile information may be visible to other users according to your privacy settings. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address security incidents. External websites and linked content follow their own privacy policies.
This website and local storage
This landing website does not ask you to create an account and does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or marketing cookies. Hosting infrastructure may record requests for operation and security. The mobile app stores session and preference information on your device and may keep downloaded learning materials or offline work. Removing the app does not by itself delete your server-side account.
Your choices
In the app, use Profile → Privacy to change private-account and personalisation settings, and update interests and notification preferences in your profile settings. Turning off personalisation gives you a more general feed; age-appropriate filters still apply. You can update available profile fields in the app. Contact support to request access, correction, or removal of information that you cannot manage yourself.
Account deletion and retention
You can select Profile → Account → Delete account in the app. The current deletion flow disables your account, replaces its email address, clears its username, and revokes sessions. It does not immediately erase all associated profile, activity, or learning records. Contact support@edvora.app to request removal of remaining personal information and for details about retention. Records may remain in operational backups or where needed for security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes. No fixed automatic purge period is currently specified.
Younger users
Skillvira uses date of birth and age-group information to apply age-appropriate experiences and consent controls. A parent or guardian can contact support with questions about a younger user’s information or to request its removal. Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive material unless support explains why it is needed.
Security and processing locations
We use measures such as password hashing, authenticated access, and encrypted connections to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed where our hosting and service providers operate, including outside your country.
Changes and contact
This policy covers the Skillvira app and this website. We may update it as the service changes and will show the revised date here. For privacy questions or requests, contact the Skillvira support team at support@edvora.app. Include the email associated with your account, but never send your password.
